Questions to Answer Before Requesting a Shisha Charcoal Price
Send the product, pack, volume, destination and timing in one brief. A price without those conditions can describe a different offer from the one your business actually needs.

Shisha charcoal price request requirements
A comparable quotation starts with a comparable brief.
A request for quotation (RFQ) tells the supplier which product and order to price. Without that scope, two responses can look comparable while describing different cubes, packs, quantities or delivery obligations.
Use the checklist below for hookah charcoal sourcing, then review the offered specification and sample evidence. Mark undecided fields openly rather than letting each supplier fill the gaps with different assumptions.
Pre-RFQ checklist
Send the requirement in one version.

| Application / supplier problem | Operating setup and the concrete issue the new supply should address. | __________ |
| Cube dimensions / specification | Requested axes, tolerance, grade or reference; mandatory criteria. | __________ |
| Initial quantity / monthly volume | Separate purchase plan and forecast; units and SKU split. | __________ |
| Sample need | Evaluation stage, sample reference requested, and open approval questions. | __________ |
| Pack format | Inner pack, net weight or count, carton arrangement and fit needs. | __________ |
| Private-label scope | Artwork status, approval owner and requested supplier work. | __________ |
| Destination / Incoterm | Port or location; requested term, edition and named place, or unresolved choice. | __________ |
| Timing / documents | Required usable-stock date; confirmed records and unresolved requirements. | __________ |
Request in the response: offered product and pack / quantity basis / currency and price unit / included and excluded charges / validity / schedule assumptions / open items.
01 · Buyer and application
Who is buying, and what must the charcoal do?
Begin with company name, country, buyer type, and sales channel. An importer supplying retailers, a distributor serving lounges, and a private-label brand owner may all request coconut charcoal cubes wholesale, but their product, pack, and approval needs differ. State the intended application and who will evaluate the sample.
Explain the problem you want to solve: inconsistent cubes, uncertain production source, packaging damage, unclear evidence, or unreliable order communication. Describe observations rather than claiming a cause you have not established. A specific problem helps the supplier identify the relevant offer and evidence, rather than answering with a generic grade list.
Use one requirement version for every supplier in the comparison. Record the date and the person responsible for clarifications. If an answer changes the requirement, circulate the same revision to the other suppliers so their prices continue to describe comparable scopes.
02 · Cube and target specification
Describe the product before asking for its unit price.
State requested length × width × height, tolerance needs, and the intended operating setup. If these are undecided, say so and ask which current formats can be evaluated. Do not label an undefined product standard and expect suppliers to make the same assumptions.
List mandatory properties and distinguish them from preferences. Identify the specification or sample reference you want the quotation to follow, including agreed methods or reporting bases where relevant. If you have only a target, describe it as a target pending supplier confirmation rather than presenting it as an already approved product.
Unimax’s current product scope and the specific offer need confirmation in the quotation. A request for a size or performance criterion does not establish that it is available. Link the offered grade to the actual specification and sample procedure before moving from an indicative discussion to an order decision.
03 · Order quantity and monthly demand
Separate the first order from the forecast.
Provide the intended initial order quantity and estimated monthly demand as separate fields. Specify the quantity unit and whether the request is for sample evaluation, a trial commercial order, or repeat supply. A forecast is planning information, not automatically a purchase commitment.
If volume is uncertain, give your current estimate and the basis for it, or mark it to be confirmed. State whether the plan includes several packs or SKUs and give the proposed split. Avoid requesting a container price while leaving the packed-product configuration and quantity basis undefined.
Ask the supplier to state the quantity and packing assumptions used in the response. Do not treat a generic container label as a guaranteed net product weight. Confirm the actual loading plan for the offered pack and order; this guide does not publish a fixed MOQ or container payload.
04 · Packaging and private label
Make the printing and pack scope visible.
Describe the inner pack, target net weight or guaranteed piece count, outer-carton arrangement, and any required pack dimensions. Identify whether you need an existing pack or a new private-label format. Attach a brief or approved reference when available, rather than relying only on a photo of another product.
For private label, state who supplies the artwork, its current approval status, and the work you expect the supplier to perform. Ask whether the quotation includes proofs, prototypes, printing setup, or other order-specific packaging work. Record separate charges and any assumptions in the response.
Keep unresolved pack decisions visible. Request an alternative pack only as a separately described option, so a lower quote does not quietly replace your intended scope. Confirm pack approval and required checks before production, particularly when the brand presentation depends on exact format or quantity statements.
05 · Destination and delivery scope
Name the location and ask what the offer includes.
Provide the country and destination port or delivery location relevant to the request. State the requested Incoterm, edition, and named place if already decided; otherwise ask the supplier to explain the offered basis and mark your choice to be confirmed. This inquiry step does not replace review of the eventual delivery agreement.
Ask for an explicit list of included and excluded charges, the price unit, and currency. Avoid comparing one offer that includes a transport component with another that leaves it outside the quoted total. Keep the delivery scope beside the unit price throughout the comparison.
Identify the document requirements already confirmed by your logistics provider or advisers and list unresolved ones separately. Ask who supplies each required record and whether the response includes any related service or charge. The article does not specify destination rules or promise that every requested document is available.
06 · Samples and timing
State the next decision and the date stock is needed.
Explain whether you need an identified sample, whether evaluation has started, and which questions remain before approval. Keep sample arrangements separate from commercial-order terms. Ask for the available sample procedure and the reference linking the material to the proposed product.
Give the required arrival date or usable-stock date and distinguish it from your preferred dispatch date. State dependencies you already know, such as sample approval or artwork completion. Ask the supplier to identify the schedule assumptions and milestones used for the quote.
Do not turn an early estimate into a guaranteed lead time. Request reconfirmation when the product, pack, order quantity, approval status, and transport plan are settled. If the timing cannot be met under the stated scope, ask for a clearly described alternative rather than removing necessary approvals from the plan.
07 · Compare the response
Check scope changes before negotiating the number.
When quotations arrive, align the product specification, pack, quantity basis, currency, delivery scope, payment milestones, and validity period. Mark differences as differences instead of collapsing them into one price column. An attractive number is not comparable if it refers to a different grade or excludes work your order needs.
Separate an indicative budget response from a confirmed offer for a defined requirement. Record exclusions, open evidence, conditional availability, and any requested substitutions. Ask suppliers to clarify the items that prevent a meaningful comparison before using price to choose a shortlist.
For Unimax, send the completed requirement and request the relevant current product information. Pricing, order quantities, terms, and schedules remain subject to the actual quotation and approval process. This guide helps you obtain a useful response; it does not advertise a fixed wholesale shisha charcoal cost.
Prepare the product evidence before comparing prices.
Read the specification sheet, plan sample evaluation, and review the full sourcing process. These guides help connect the request to the evidence needed for the next decision.
Before sending the price request
Use a weighted supplier scorecard to review product evidence and repeat-order risk beside the quoted price.
Can I request a price before every field is decided?
Yes. Mark unresolved fields and ask for a response with explicit assumptions. Treat it as indicative until the relevant product and order scope are confirmed.
Should I state estimated monthly volume?
It helps explain the supply plan. Keep it separate from the initial order quantity and identify it as a forecast rather than a purchase commitment.
Is a lower price necessarily a better offer?
Compare the same product, pack, quantity and delivery scope first. Keep evidence gaps, exclusions and substitutions visible before deciding.
