Shisha Charcoal Quality-Control Checklist Before Packing

Connect identified product and test evidence to approved packing materials, artwork, coding and weighing instructions. Record a clear release-to-packing decision and the checks that remain for actual packed units.

01 · Approved baseline

Identify the material and the packing decision.

Shisha charcoal quality control before packing should connect the material about to be packed with the buyer’s approved requirements. Start with the order, product grade, cube requirement, specification revision, sample approval and packaging references. A familiar product name is not enough when several grades or revisions are being handled.

Define this checkpoint as permission to pack identified material using identified components. Keep it separate from final shipment release. Actual packed-weight, sealing and carton checks require packed units and should remain explicit later checkpoints.

Agree who performs each check, what evidence is available and who can hold or approve the affected material. This guide is a proposed buyer framework, not a claim that every listed record is maintained. Exact limits, sampling quantities and methods must follow documents accepted by both parties.

02 · Sample and batch reference

Know what the selected pieces represent.

Record the sample or batch reference and the quantity or production interval it covers. Explain how the selected pieces relate to the material entering packing. A presentation sample and an agreed selection across relevant production represent different scopes.

Link the check to the approved sample report and current specification. Resolve missing identity or uncertain revisions before describing a result as a match. Where several lots are combined or divided for an order, agree how the available identification follows the material through packing.

03 · Dimensions and condition

Apply the agreed measurements and defect rules.

For specified cube dimensions and unit mass, use the agreed tools, selection method, sample quantity and decision rule. Record actual readings against the approved revision. A nominal cube size alone is not a complete acceptance criterion, and one favorable measurement does not establish conformity of the whole lot.

Check visible condition against agreed descriptions or reference images, including the treatment of chipped edges, cracks, broken pieces and loose material. Define how findings are counted and reviewed. Do not invent a universal acceptable defect percentage for every product.

Photographs can document visible condition and identity. They cannot replace measured results or establish laboratory properties. Apply the agreed review or retest procedure to borderline findings instead of selecting a better-looking piece.

04 · Results and retained reference

Connect test evidence to the material under review.

Review relevant results required by the approved specification or sample protocol. Check sample identity, lot represented, test date, method, reporting basis and acceptance criterion. Separate an actual measurement from a target specification and a field observation from a laboratory property.

If a required result is pending, record it as pending. The designated approver should decide whether packing must wait or may proceed under a defined condition. An unrelated favorable report cannot close the gap.

Confirm whether identified reference material will be retained, by whom, under which agreed conditions and for how long. Retention must be arranged rather than assumed. A physical reference supports later comparison within its condition and scope; it does not guarantee zero variation.

05 · Materials, artwork and coding

Check the approved components before use.

Identify the required inner pack or liner, retail pack and master carton construction. Compare available components with the approved packaging reference or agreed prototype. Resolve damaged materials and proposed substitutions before affected components are used.

Confirm the exact artwork revision and approved product, language and pack designation. Use the accepted file rather than memory of the previous order. Checking against approved artwork does not replace the buyer’s destination-specific label review.

Check coding instructions, required locations and how product or lot references will be assigned. Where a printed example or first packed unit is needed, mark it as a start-of-packing check. Do not mark finished-pack coding complete before an identified pack exists.

06 · Scale readiness

Separate preparation from packed-weight conformity.

Confirm intended net quantity, weighing method, treatment of packaging tare and the approved acceptance rule. Identify the scale and ask which readiness or verification evidence is available under the agreed procedure. A zero display alone does not establish weighing accuracy.

Agree how first packed units and subsequent units will be checked and recorded. Record the responsible operator and escalation contact for findings outside agreed limits. Readiness to weigh is a separate decision from acceptance of actual packed-weight results.

PT Unimax Pro Indonesia has equity ownership and operational control in the production facility. This supports coordination of buyer requirements with production. It does not imply 100% ownership, zero variation or availability of every proposed record. Confirm the checks and evidence possible for your order.

07 · Release to packing

Leave a decision the operation can follow.

Use explicit outcomes: release identified material to packing, hold for a finding or missing evidence, or accept a defined deviation through the designated approval. Record lot or quantity, reviewer, date, references reviewed and remaining start-of-packing conditions.

For an accepted exception, state whether it applies only to this order or updates the ongoing baseline. Preserve the original finding and decision history. A general “OK” message is weak evidence when it does not identify the requirement and affected scope.

Pass the approved product and packaging revisions to the operation. After packing starts, close the first-pack, weight, seal and coding checkpoints as agreed. Final finished-goods and shipment release remain separate; pre-packing approval does not establish that a container is ready to ship.

Questions buyers ask

Where should exact test limits come from?

Use the approved product specification and protocol, including sampling and decision rules. A generic checklist should not invent limits for every grade.

Can pack weight be fully approved before packing starts?

Quantity instructions, tare and scale readiness can be reviewed beforehand. Actual packed-weight conformity requires identified packed units and the agreed checks.

Does release to packing approve shipment?

No. It covers defined material and packing conditions. Finished-goods, document, loading and shipment-release decisions remain separate.

Agree the baseline before production.

Send your company, destination, grade and cube requirements, estimated volume, packaging need and timing. Ask Unimax to confirm current product information, the approved baseline and the pre-packing checks and repeat-order process available before production.
